I rarely post pictures of myself.. but this one is sorta good. My niece likes to roll her eyes back, so I tried to take a picture of us doing it together, except i kinda screwed it up trying to hold the camera.

I haven’t updated this site in months. I’ve been meaning to do so, but I guess I don’t care much anymore. Anyways, today I was watching CNBC when they went to their “man” on the street and some crazy nut off the street started to scream “Vote Sanjaya” from American Idol. I recalled that Howard Stern was pushing the vote for the worst campaign and looked at the video a little closer and realized this was Benjy Bronk from the show.
Unfortunately, this is a camera phone shot off the DVR. I don’t know how to get stuff off my DVR and onto my computer without getting a video capture card.. Sorry.

I can’t seem to get the controls to show with Internet Explorer. Works great with FireFox.

Thought Jason Peirce had pretty much disappeared from the music scene after getting deathly ill a while back. I happened upon “The Acoustic Mainlines” playing at All Tomorrows Parties in London in April. It says Jason and band will play Spiritualized songs as well as Spacemen 3 stuff acoustic. Sounds amazing. Although Sonic has done Spacemen stuff on his solo tours, jason rarely does more than ‘Walking with Jesus’ or ‘Take me to the Other Side’. In honor of this great news..I found a great Glastonbury video of ‘Shine a Light’. I forgot how great that song is. Enjoy.

I really think 411 is a huge rip off. I’m almost to the point of googling from my cell phone instead of paying the $1.50..
Well problem solved? There is a new? service called 1.800.free.411 (1-800-373-3411) I guess sometimes you might have to listen to an advert before you get an operator. But who cares.

I don’t really use iTunes much for listening to music, but I did add a iTunes widget to the sidebar from FreeFM. It seems like a potentially interesting tool that tracks what you listen to. I suppose having statistical data on your own listening trends could be useful?
